A Little Bit About Creativate

In May of 2025, Mysewnet was rebranded as Creativate. The adversing promised everything would be relatively the same, just better organized. Also, many of the naming conventions for subscription plans changed.
For those of you who don’t know anything about Creativate.
Here’s a brief overview. Creativate is an app made for Singer, Viking, and Pfaff sewing and embroidery machine users. The app primarily focuses on providing tutorials, projects, and software for creating embroidery designs. There is a free tier of the app.
However, you are very limited in what you can do without having a paid subscription plan. In addition to having limited capabilities without a paid subscription, the app will work offline with limited capabilities. Hence, you do need an internet connection in order to get full use out of the program.
Old School Expectations Vs Modern Provisions
Years ago, users were able to make a one time purchase of digitizing software. Many users miss this because now many programs have adopted the subscription plan model. With a subscription plan, you never truly own an app. You don’t own it because the moment you stop making monthly payments, functionality is lost. While modern apps allow for you to get continuous updates without needing to make upgrades, monthly cost add up. At the same time, apps don’t just download to your device. They collect data!
Read Your Privacy Policy & Terms Of Service
It is important to read the privacy policy before committing to purchasing the app. It matters because everyone needs to be informed about what personal information is being collected. I’ve made a full YouTube video where we review the privacy policy. In addition, there are links to all the referenced information below.
