In 1986, the first Janome Combi Machine released. At time of release, this machine costed $900. $900 was a lot of money back in 1986. You may be asking yourself why I am bringing up the Janome Combi machine now. But, I have a very interesting reason why.

A New Janome Combi

The new machine includes 30 stitches and a 2 thread overlocker on the opposite side. As of the time of writing this blog, the machine has not yet released. However, I will try to update the article if or when the new model comes out.

Older Combi Models

In the meantime, I have a small illustration to show you of prior Combi machines released over the years. After all, it’s always interesting to take a look back at machines of the past.

 Not interested in combi?

While many are interested in saving space with a combination sewing and serger machine, there are still many who prefer to have two separate machines. Two great place to find machines are Sewing Machines Plus and Sewing Parts Online.
