Discover Gorilla Mini Hot Glue Gun

Its been 2 years since I purchased my gorilla mini hot glue gun. Since we’ve heard so much about Gorilla company, in the beginning of 2021, I thought it only appropriate to do a review on the Gorilla glue gun.
Longevity…
I don’t use a glue gun daily. However, this one has help up pretty well with the things I use it for. It is 120 volts and has low and high temperature settings. Gorilla also has the identical glue gun in a standard size. Personally, I opted for the smaller size because I’m using the glue gun for bag making and the occasional silk flowers.
Gorilla Mini Hot Glue Gun had mixed reviews on Amazon.
Some people cited glue melting inside of the gun and causing problems. But, I never had such a problem. The reviews on Amazon made me hesitant to purchase the glue gun. However, I must say I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the little glue guns’ performance.

The company recommends using mini glue sticks from their company. I use Gorilla branded glue sticks. At the same time, I’ve used Crystal Clear branded sticks rated for high and low temperatures. I’m pretty sure using incorrect temperature glue sticks will cause overflow and melting issues as mentioned in Amazon reviews. However, I cannot 100% say this was the cause of malfunctions cited.
Love the texture.
The Gorilla glue gun has a grippy trigger and palm rest quite comfortable for hours of crafting! It’s the one glue gun feature I didn’t know was needed! I’ve found it super comfortable and cannot see myself going back to a glue gun without the feature.
Red light special
Gorilla mini hot glue gun has a red light in the back. This red light shines when the glue gun is plugged into an outlet. The red light is a wonderful feature. However, I wish the light would turn green whenever the appropriate temperature is reached. Otherwise, the indicator light is quite pointless.
Standing Power
The glue gun has a kick stand to help it sit up. At the same time, it has a wide square base for extra stability. This is a wonder feature not found on many glue guns. As a result of the dual support, this iron has never tipped over.
My only complaint is…
You have to feed new glue sticks into the slot before the other one is finished. This must be done because glue sticks don’t advance forward once they get too short. It is an annoyance, but not something I can’t handle.
Overall.
Gorilla mini hot glue gun is a great choice for anyone looking to find a glue gun for doing basic crafting tasks. It doesn’t break the bank or take up too much room. Plus, the glue gun is more quality than the cheap ones you get from big box stores.
